Winston BIIx Spey Rods

There are 4 rods to choose from in the BIIx two-handed (spey) series. These Boron IIx rods all come equiped with anodized aluminum up-locking reel seats and 4 piece to help with convenience.

Available rod sizes;

7/8-Weight
This is a new rod developed primarily for summer steelhead or great lakes winter nymphing. very light and exceptionally easy to cast. This 7/8 Weightrod is 13' 3" and weighs only 6 3/4 ounces.

8/9Weight 13 Footer
Designed for medium-sized salmon and steelhead rivers, this is a lightweight, acurate rod that will apeal to the anglers who prefer a 13' length. This 8/9 Weight rod is 13' and weighs only 6 3/4 ounces.

8/9 Weight 14 Footer
This is a great all around spey rod. With the ability to handle a wide range of fishing conditions and casting styles, this 14' spey rod gained a following for its unique combination of power an finesse. If you can only own one two-hander this is it. This 8/9 Weight rod is 14' and weighs only 7 3/4 ounces.

10-Weight
If you're after large salmon and steelhead in big water, the new 15 footer is the call. Very powerful, but with the responsiveness  for which the BIIx is known. This 9/10 Weight rod is 15' and weighs only 8 3/4 ounces.
