Nautilus NV Series Reels
The NV series features a larger version of the patented drag system of their CCF siblings and stainless steel components have been replaced by ceramics and titanium.
These reels are built on tried and tested frames and feature the patented NV CCF Disc Braking System. These new G-Spool designs transform your NV reels into uber-arbor fly reels that pick up line quickly. The G-Spool design that they borrowed from their larger G-7 to G-9 siblings reduces the reel weight by an impressive 0.3 ounces. Unique CNC machining on these reels gives the impression that the backing is floating above the arbor, creating significant air space under the backing which promotes faster backing drying. All 2011 NVG reels are identified by a machined G on the counterweight.
